For anyone that didn't watch this game, the Celtics absolutely proved the doubters wrong. Not only did the Celtics beat the defending champion Spur's 98-90, they did it without Kevin Garnett. I had an earlier post doubting the Celtics playing against Tim Duncan without KG and Perk, boy was I wrong. We got 33 strong minutes from rookie Glen Davis including his hustle plays and offensive boards. While my boy Rondo finished with only 5 points but had a career high 12 assists and 10 rebounds while playing excellent D the whole game. Now for all the people who dismiss the Celtics of being a top team in the NBA...... Shove it. We are 16-0 against the dreaded west conference. Pierce finished with 35 points and Ray Ray with 19 points, including a huge offensive rebound at the end. All in all, this is a great team and far better than anyone could have ever expected.
