Halladay To Be Traded?

The Jays are falling fast in the AL East. They started off hot, but it doesn't look like they are going to be able to keep up with teams like the Sox, Rays and Yankees. The Jays are 4-11 against teams that are ahead of them in the AL East and have 39 games against those teams, so that leads us to the question....Since Halladay is a free agent soon should the Jays look to trade him?

My answer is yes. I know he is the best pitcher in baseball, but I don't see him resigning with the Jays. It will be a high price tag for this guy, and it should be since he really is one of the best (if not the best) pitchers in the MLB. Teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs, ect would have to at least take a look. In the end the Jays are still a little ways away from being a real good team. They have some of the pieces like Lind, Hill, ect, but they will most likely lose Halladay anyways so they should go out and get some top prospects. With so many teams still in the playoff hunt the Jays might be able to pull off a hell of a deal for themselves...
