Ravens Interested In Vick

"A day after the quarterback was conditionally reinstated to the league, only the Baltimore Ravens would directly acknowledge evaluating him. "We've had long discussions about Michael Vick and we have a feeling about how he would impact our team and not impact our team," coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday (Sportsline)."

The whole Vick situation will be (and is) overplayed in the media, but where he ends up really interests me. Most people I talk to think he will have a bunch of options. I am on the other side that thinks that he is going to need to play some football and live "clean" before teams take him seriously. That's why I still think his best option is the UFL. Even if an NFL team takes him he will not be a starting QB, so why not go dominate the UFL, and then comeback to the NFL the next year? Most likely would make more money that way too.

Anyways, if there was a team that makes a lot of sense it is the Ravens. They have a QB, but they could use Vick in different packages, and above that they have a strong locker room that could take the media onslaught that will come with him arrival. If he was to step out of line Ray Lewis would rape him.

There were 2 teams that were thought to have interest, which were the Bengals (yea, that's just what they need) and the Dolphins, but both teams have come out and said they have 0 interest in seeing Vick on their teams.
