Hunwick Files For Arbitration
"As expected, Matt Hunwick filed for arbitration by today's 5 p.m. deadline. Hunwick was one of 20 restricted free agents to file for arbitration. Hunwick is expected to come to an agreement prior to his hearing (Boston.com)."
From what I am reading it sounds like this will never make it to arbitration since the Bruins and Hunwick are really close to signing an extension. I am a Hunwick fan, and am glad he is sticking around. He moves the puck well, and could develop into being a very good point man on the power play. Boston is building a very strong team, and it will be real interesting to see what they do with the $4,312,500 they have left in cap space.
