Manny Acta has been fired as manager of the Washington Nationals, he told ESPNdeportes.com's Enrique Rojas on Sunday.
The Nationals were blanked by the Houston Astros on Sunday 5-0 to go into the All-Star break with the worst record in the league at 26-61.
I don't know much about Manny Acta or the Nationals, because hell, who follows the Nationals. But this gu was in a lose-lose situation. When your pitching rotation is led by Odalis Perez and Adam Dunn is your best offensive player, I would assume you aren't going to win many games. Oh those silly Nationals.
