Bill Hall The Best Red Sox Player Of All Time!

The most versatile player in Red Sox history is Bill Hall. He came into this year as being a 3rd baseman, but so far this year he's played every single position for the Sox for the exception of catching and 1st. (Yes, he's even pitched and has a 0 era) Some people will refer to him as a modern day Babe Ruth.

It came to me when I was trying to buy his player tee at the clubhouse store and there weren't any. It came to me that the reason there aren't any is because they sell out too quickly and they are constantly being preordered and shipped immediately to the consumer.

If the Sox do anything this year, I believe they should re-sign Hall for a 5 year, 50 million dollar deal and that would even be a steal.

I recently interviewed first black Red Sox baseball player Pumpsie Green and he said: "Bill Hall has a better eye than ted Williams and more power potential than Manny Ramirez"

Strong words coming from an icon like Pumpsie.
