With the Sox having a Youk out for the year, it looks like Theo has turned his attention to 38 year old Carlos Delgado for a potential replacement. Carlos Delgado is one of my favorite players of all time. He's huge and hits bombs and is the man. However, I don't see how this does anything for the Sox? We have Mike Lowell and if he gets traded due to waivers than I'd like to give the kid Lars Anderson come up.
What do they get out of this? Nothing, I guess they get fans like me interested, but I would rather give the young guys a go.
But it will be cool to say Delgado to Del Got it.... I guess.
