This time EA Sports’ computerized oujia board points to a Boston title. After the video game company’s computers failed to predict a Celtics championship last year, a simulation of ’NHL 09’ sees the Stanley Cup in the Bruins’ near future. Using real-life data for all playoff teams, including updated information on hot streaks and injuries, the popular video game’s computerized simulation lands the Bruins in an original six finals matchup against the Blackhawks .
God I hate this shit. They do this with Madden all the time, and it is never right. Last year this games predictions were so wrong that they didn't even get either of the Stanley Cup Finals teams right. The Bruins are a very good team, and I hope they go deep, but I will admit I would be shocked if they won it all. Teams like Washington, NJ, Detroit, and San Jose scare the shit out of me, and I just don't know if the Bruins are on that level yet. I hope I am wrong, and more once I hope these "simulations" are right.
