Steelers linebacker James Harrison cashed in on his incredible 2008 season by agreeing to a new contract Monday that is worth $51.175 million over the next six seasons, according to a source.
Not much else to say other than this guy is a play maker, and the best outside linebacker in the NFL. The Steelers always have awesome linebackers and it is good that they committed to Harrison. Normally they let big FA go like (Joey Porter, Earl Holmes, Jason Gildon), but it is nice to see they rewarded the defensive MVP with a big pay day. Now there is one less person they have to worry about next year, when it includes free agents Hines Ward, Casey Hampton, etc..
