"Phil Kessel will miss his fourth straight game tonight. Kessel participated in an optional morning skate, but only took light wrist shots. Claude Julien said Kessel is targeting a return next week (Boston.com)."
The Bruins don't need him right now, so there is no reason to force him back. Though the Bruins have not come out and said what the injury is most reports seem to think it is his shoulder. Boston plays Ottawa tonight in a game they should win even without Kessel. There is no indication that Kessel is in any danger of missing playoff time, but obviously we will keep you updated as we learn more.
