Kevin Garnett Injury Update

"Colleague Frank Dell'Apa says Celtics coach Doc Rivers said at practice today that injured forward Kevin Garnett will make the upcoming two-game road trip but will not play Sunday at Cleveland. Garnett, however, will take part in shootaround in Philadelphia on April 14, and if he does well he could play that night against the Sixers. Garnett has missed 14 games with a sprained right knee and last played at Orlando on March 25 (boston.com)."

The playoffs are approaching fast, so this shootaround may be the most important thing for the Celtics. If KG can play, and get a couple games under his belt before the playoffs then maybe he will be alright, but if he can't and the Celtics have to shut him down for the year then I don't seem them getting any further then the 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs. Indications I have read so far seem to think he is going to be able to come back, but I find it a little odd we never see KG interviews anymore. This was one of the more outspoken Celtic when things were going well. Hopefully he is just focusing on rehab, and a glorious return for the playoffs. ....we'll let you know more after the shootaround.
