Miller Decides To Stay At Xavier....Then Doesn't
Another day another coach turning down Arizona. Miller has a really good team at Xavier next season, and he is seeing a lot of potential problems if he was to go to Arizona. Zona is under investigation, and they have been having recruiting problems over the past couple seasons. As more and more coaches turn down this once proud franchise, you have to wonder what Arizona will do now. If I was them I would just keep their interim coach, who got them a couple rounds into the tournament, because it doesn't seem like anyone is going to want this job until that investigation is over. Plus, now any coach to try to hire is going to know that he wasn't their top 3 choice, so you know that they aren't going to be very happy about that.
**UPDATE**
"Barring another last-minute change of plans, Sean Miller will be introduced as Arizona's next basketball coach despite the fact that he turned down the job late Sunday, a source has told CBSSports.com.'
Wow, What the fuck is this all about. Well, Arizona looks to finally got someone to coach this team. Miller is a very good coach, and Arizona has to be really happy to have him. I wonder how much extra cash it took to reel him in after he turned the offer down yesterday...
We'll have more when the information about his contract are released.
