Well it is marathon Monday and for some reason I have to work. The Sox are on, people are all over the roads drinking, and here I am in a fucking cubical....well fuck it, lets go Sox...
Boston is back to .500 after a very tough start. Justin Masterson will be on the hill for his first start of the year, and will be up against Mark Hendrickson who in my opinion is one of the worst starters in the AL. He has a 2-6 record against the Sox with an 8.56, so maybe even Big Papi can hit him. Masterson threw four shutout innings against Oakland on Tuesday, striking out six without a walk and allowing just two hits. He is taking Dice-K's turn in the rotation, after the Sox had to shut him down with a "tired arm". Buchholz was the other option, but a pulled hamstring will make him miss oppurtunity.
I expect 5 solid innings from Masterson today, which will be plenty since the Sox should pound Hendrickson into submission. Game starts at 11:05am on NESN.
