"Three weeks ago, receiver Terrell Owens stated he had no intention of attending any Buffalo Bills workouts unless they were mandatory. So much for that. Owens showed up on Wednesday at the team's Orchard Park, N.Y., facility to participate in the voluntary offseason conditioning program. His arrival surprised even some of his closest associates. Three days after the Dallas Cowboys cut Owens, the future Hall of Famer signed a one-year contract for $6.5 million guaranteed (ESPN)."
This is a great move by T.O.. I think he was really leaving himself open to a lot of criticism if he didn't show up. To get his career back on track he is going to need this team to play well. Owens is not the player he once was, but he can still be a difference maker. The problem is he can also be a difference maker in a bad way. At least this will quiet down the media for a while, and you would have to think this will at least get him some respect in this locker room. My worry is there is really no other strong personalities on the Bills, so this may be the T.O. show, but in the end there is usually a 1 year honeymoon period with T.O., so it is still a good signing.
