Sheldon Brown Asks For Trade
"Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown has asked to be traded. Brown has four years remaining on his contract, and the Eagles have indicated that they will not renegotiate his deal. After dealing with a similar situation with Lito Sheppard, it is considered unlikely that the Eagles will deal Brown at this time (ESPN)."
This story cracks me up. This guy has 4 years remaining on his deal. He only had 1 INT last year, and he is demanding a raise, or to be traded. Why would the Eagles do any of that. He signed a contract, and it is not even close to be over. If you don't like it, then it was probably stupid to sign such a lng deal. Stories like this piss me off, because you know the only reason he is going this is because Asante Samuel got that big deal, and now he is jealous and is acting like a 5 year old.
I don't see the Eagles trading him, and I don't see him holding out. This will just be another disgruntled player that really has no choice but to shut the fuck up and play football.
