Connecticut's Hasheem Thabeet has decided to give up his final year of college eligibility and enter the NBA draft.
The 7-foot-3 center from Tanzania said Tuesday that he made the decision after speaking to family, friends and coach Jim Calhoun. ESPN
Why not? This is the weakest draft class I can ever remember and as it is right now, I see him going 3 overall. Thabeet will not be a superstar and will be more like a Shawn Bradley than a Dikembe Mutombo. Hasheem Thabeet proved last year verses Pitt that he cannot hang when it comes to physical play as DeJuan Blair literally wiped the floor with him. You can't blame him for going out and getting money, but write it down here. the guy is a BUST.
