"President of basketball operations Danny Ainge confirmed that Phoenix free agent Grant Hill is on the Celtics’ wish list. “We have interest in him,’’ said Ainge, who could offer Hill a $1.9 biannual-exception contract (Boston.com)."
Hill met with the Knicks yesterday, and they can give him a lot more money then the Celtics can. That being said the Celtics can give Hill a legit shot at winning a title. ***UPDATE***
"The New York Knicks have offered forward Grant Hill a one-year contract worth a portion of the team’s mid-level exception, the New York Post reports (Sporting News)."
From what I am reading Hill is very interesting in the Knicks. Why? I have no idea, so I guess it is about money. Hill would have to take a serious pay cut to stay with the Celtics.
