If you are a Red Sox fan then you have noticed that even though they have been playing very well their lead in the AL East is shrinking. The Yankees are hot and we all know eventually they would be, because there is just too much talent on that team for them to be bad. Still, the Sox have a really good chance to take over this division over the next couple of weeks. They play the next 10 games at home. Their opponents Mariners (3 games), A's (3 games), and Royals (4 games). Don't worry it gets better...the Sox don't have to play Grienke as it stands right now in that Royals series.
So the Sox really need to tear up this part of their schedule, because you don't get a lineup like that a lot. This would be the perfect time for the Sox to put some distance between them and the Yankees and Rays...
