Mike Bibby has agreed to a three-year deal worth about $18 million to return to the Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, citing two sources familiar with the situation.
Bibby is a decent PG as he averaged 14.9 points and 5.0 assists per game last season. However, the Hawks were a major disappointment last year. Even I thought they were going to be a major threat, but they were more into watching LeBron James tear them up, rather than play defense on him. They are going to have to do a lot more than sign Bibby if they want to be a contender.
