I wish Roy Halladay would get traded already. Yesterday showed once again why Halladay could be the best in the business. If this was his last game he sure went out on a good note throwing a complete game 6 hitter allowing 1 run 0 walks and 7 Ks. Boston just could not get their bats going, and players like Bay (who went 0-4 with 4 men left on base) continue to struggle.
It really is too bad that Halladay pitched so well, because Lester deserved the win in this game. He pitched 7 innings allowing 3 runs on 5 hits with 6 Ks. He was a little wild letting up 4 walks, but overall it was another quality start from the young lefty.
With the loss Boston is once again only 1 game up on the Yankees for 1st place in the AL East. The Sox now have a difficult 3 game series at Texas, while the Yankees get to play the Orioles at Yankee Stadium.
