A's @ Red Sox Preview

All-Star Tim Wakefield takes the mound tonight, as the Red Sox try to build off their win the night before. Wake has been nothing short of amazing this year. Sure his ERA isn't all that great (4.30), but you can't argue with a 10-3 record. Wake has been getting run support all year, and hopefully the Boston bats will get it going once again tonight.

Oakland counters with a young pitcher named Trevor Cahill (5-7, 4.55). The right-hander hasn't gotten out of the fourth inning in either of his last two starts, with his ERA rising from 3.68 before those outings. He is every young, so struggles like this are expected. He has a bright future, but your first game at Fenway can always be hell.

I am going to the game, so it better not fucking rain. Game starts at 7:10 on NESN.

Here is a look at tonight's lineup...

1. J.D. Drew, RF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
4. David Ortiz, DH
5. Jason Bay, LF
6. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
7. Mark Kotsay, 1B
8. Nick Green, SS
9. George Kottaras, C
