5 Angels, 4 Red Sox

Well this game was unfortunate. The game started off chippy when Bobby Abreu was in the batters box and called time late, and that is when Josh Beckett decided to whizz the Angels slugger by his head. After that happened both benches cleared, the bullpens cleared and Tori Hunter got ejected. It must have been a little refreshing for the Angels to worry about competition against the Red Sox rather than dwell on the tragic death of Nick Adenhart.

After that it looked like the Sox were going to cruise to another win as Kevin Youkilis and J.D. Drew hit back to back homeruns off of Moseley. But, later that game, Abreu hit a go-ahead two-run single against Beckett, and Vladimir Guerrero hit his first home run of the season to help Dustin Moseley and the Angels beat the Red Sox 5-4.

Here is the Beckett play. You decide?

The Sox now get to against the feisty A's.
