Byron Leftwich Latches 2 Year Deal With Bucs

ree-agent quarterback Byron Leftwich has agreed to a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a source told ESPN's Michael Smith.

Leftwich's deal is for $7.5 million, a source told ESPN.com's John Clayton.

I don't really know what the Bucs are doing, but it seems they have unlimited QBs. Already on the roster Luke McCown, Josh Johnson, and Brian Griese, but it seems Leftwich is going to step into the starting role. Leftwich can be very effective if he has time in the pocket. With the emergence of Antonio Bryant and the acquisition of Kellen Winslow, this offense could be very dangerous. They could be a wild card team this year, figuring the Saints will win the NFC South.
