Dolphins Not Interested In Adding Vick
Reports are saying that the Miami Dolphins have no interest in potentially adding troubled QB Michael Vick to their Wildcat scheme this upcoming NFL season. I don't think the Dolphins would rule anything out when it comes to their current QB situation, but it seems like you can officially scratch Vick off the list of possible replacements for Chad Pennington. Vick was speculated as fitting well within the Dolphins system because of his knack for running, scrambling, and throwing the football.
Vick has just appeared in bankruptcy court to tell creditors how he will go about repaying them, a plan which includes a major return to the NFL. Of course NFL Commissioner Robert Goodell would have to reinstate him first, but the plan seems like it would be approved by creditors, who are looking to get their money owed by Vick as quickly as possible. No way Vick will see the type of money he expects if he was to return to the league (10 Million?!), and I figure he will fall to a mediocre team that picks him up solely just to put fans in the seats come the start of the new season ... that's if he gets reinstated.
