Calvin Pace Suspended 4 Games
"The NFL has suspended Jets linebacker Calvin Pace for four games without pay for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. Pace will miss New York's first four games of the season and will be eligible to return for the Jets' Monday night game at Miami on Oct. 12. In a statement issued by the team Thursday, Pace said the suspension is a result of taking an over-the-counter dietary supplement that he was unaware violated the NFL's policy (Sportsline)."
This could be really bad news for the Jets. The AFC East is going to be tough enough as it is, and now they are going to have to go without Pace for 4 games. Gholston will take his place, but he has been a huge bust, and hasn't looked good during this offseason either. It is really too bad, because I was really high on that kid when he was drafted. Maybe the Jets will go after McGinest now to help fill the void, especially in against the run...
