We reported this last week that the Phillies were in contract negotiations with Pedro Martinez. Now it seems that have gotten past that and all Pedro has to do is pass the physical. Pedro is nowhere close to what he once was, but he is better then 80% of the 5th starts out there, so this could be a very solid pickup.
